   OMG… this monitor was wayy.. bigger than I expected. The colors are really clear and vibrant. NO dead or stuck pixels at all. I really like the touch panel at the bottom of the monitor. If you’re reading this. Buy this monitor! You won’t regret it!

   I bought this 24″ LCD monitor to replace my 17″ crt. This is one sweet monitor! Right out of the box it worked perfectly. Lots of adjustment options. Vivid, crisp colors. I hooked up my DVD player and enjoyed HD movies in vivid color and detail. For the money, you just can’t go wrong with this monitor.

   I love this monitor! you never know how much you need it untill you have it! I’ve previeously owned a samsung syncmaster 730B loved it, but having this makes it look like a dwarf! I can have two program windows side by side now surf the web and read a pdf at once! The quality on the xbox 360 and ps3 is simply lovely! the only thing that is kind of a bit of a bugger for me is that when switching inputs sometimes it takes a little doing with the touch buttons. It’s not as responsive as i would like with the monitor seeing the signal or the touch buttons on the front, however its a minor thing and for me not a huge reason to look else where. No dead pixels it works I love it! OUUU and its VESA wall mountable no one really talks about this but this is the first thing I look for in a monitor! This ability really clears up your desk!

   In a nutshell, this monitor blows everything else I looked at out of the water and was 211.00 to my door. Picture / graphics quality are outstanding!!!

   I am a computer network consultant, and have been since 1990. I purchased 3 of these monitors, 2 for my office, and 1 for a client in the last 3 months. I noticed the monitor on my partner’s desk had a pixel out 6″ from the left, and 3.5″ from the bottom. I called Acer Support at 1.800.816.2237 at about 9:30am, and was connected with India. I explained the problem and was told that even though this monitor, the H243H, had a 3 year warranty, if only 1 pixel was out, and not in the very middle of the screen it would not be repaired. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and after being told the same story by 3 other reps from Acer, I was finally connected to Francis in California, at 254.298.4483, in customer service/or disservice, she stated the monitor would not be repaired. I asked to speak to her boss, but she refused to connect me, or tell me who he or she was. I insisted on speaking to some who could rectify this warranty problem, and Francis hung up on me. I was on the phone for about 3 hours and got nowhere. Acer reps were rude, and did not care that I was a consultant that could steer a lot of customers towards their products.
